Full ArticleThe multi-phase project of the Gainbridge Fieldhouse was the second largest renovation in the history of the NBA. The upgrades included changing the camera cable infrastructure from Triax cables to SMPTE fiber optic cables as well as cables for broadcast, low-voltage, access control and video surveillance. Clark Wire & Cable supplied almost three quarters of a million feet of cable for the 80 cameras on the field to the control room to the trailers outside the arena where the major networks connect and broadcast via satellite. Custom panels, enclosures, and portable cables were also supplied by Clark.
